Hello David and Stephanie,
Has your issue with Administrator been resolved? I am all the same talking to MakeMusic and Microsoft but I don't accept a set notwithstanding either.
Stephanie, In talking to your teammate, Kevin, I have come to understand this MakeMusic Dominance / Windows 10 Administrator problem seems to be express to nearly xx MakeMusic customers who updated from Windows 7 to Windows ten. That may be the reason MakeMusic isn't beingness deluged with queries.
The ultimate resolution may be: (a) the upcoming anniversary update to Windows ten, or (b0 an exotic registry or file backdrop hack.

Hi Stephanie D,
I accept the same outcome, Windows 10 upgraded, trying to authorize PrintMusic. I have been conversing with your colleague Kevin at MakeMusic, and we've been trying lots of approaches, registry queries, Sysinternals queries, etc. I am hoping that one day, we (MM, users, Microsoft) can solve this issue. The MakeMusic products are helpful and it would exist a shame to lose their use indefinitely. I accept seen at least 1 registry hack that would be more promising if we knew some context: it was from a reliable source, it had worked in some cases, etc.

Stephanie D said: "For some reason, you are not able to edit the registry like all other windows systems."
Information technology'due south one thing to make registry changes using Regedit. But information technology may be quite another matter using the MakeMusic actual, specific plan step to authorize the program. We tried to spot it using Microsoft Sysinternals ProcMon. But it'south hard, because ProcMon quickly floods its log with hundreds of particular system tasks.
Could that be the problem? Someone with expertise please annotate. That is, even if the User is logged on in Windows 10 (updated from a previous Windows edition) as Administrator, does the MM program itself also need permission to update the Registry, every bit it performs the authorisation?
